PNC has championed female entrepreneurs, working moms and financial decision-makers for decades. Today, women make up almost 60% of our workforce, and one-third of both our Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
We encourage professional and personal development through our Women in Business Summit, Women in Business Week and Women Connect Employee Business Resource Group (EBRG). EBRG members inspire each other to cultivate leadership skills, seize growth opportunities and reach their full potential. A subgroup, TECH Connect, supports women in technology careers and has aligned with the National Center for Women & Information Technology.
PNC, in partnership with Forté Foundation, has also launched the Men as Allies program to promote self-awareness, gender acumen and allyship. We believe this initiative will help serve as a blueprint for the future of our inclusive and engaging culture.

“I’m a Dominican-born American citizen who immigrated to the United States almost 30 years ago. In my 21 years as a Human Resources professional at PNC, I’ve earned numerous opportunities to lead others and grow my career. I proudly identify as Afro-Latina, and I’ve found that sharing my personal background and cultural experiences helps me build authentic relationships, and fosters inclusion and empathy within my teams. I’m grateful that through our African American and Hispanic Employee Business Resource Groups, PNC has created spaces that allow our Black and Latinx talent like myself to thrive.”
"During my 3 years with PNC, my growth and development have been strongly supported. I attended a development session during PNC’s Black Leadership Forum in 2020, where my approach to networking and career advancement was validated and continues to open doors for me: Don’t let differences and fear get in the way of meeting new people and experiencing new things. With every introductory meeting, ask for another person to meet. Be curious and study the background of each person you meet in advance to find commonality."
"Diversity and Inclusion is important to me because a diverse team reflects the diversity of our communities, thus enabling us to better support our clients. I was attracted to PNC because of its core values, and am proud to be part of our ongoing efforts to sustain and promote those values."

For us, it’s not about being the flashiest employer in the country, but it IS about being the most brilliant: brilliant for teamwork, learning, development opportunities and benefits. Why? The answer is empathy, which is what sets us apart and what our world needs more of. The more we trust, respect and care for each other, the better we get at listening to our customers and understanding what they need. And you can imagine what it does for our work environment. Open, welcoming and inclusive? Yes. Inspiring, innovative and steeped in integrity? You bet.
Together, we keep looking for ways to do the boring stuff brilliantly – and make life better for our customers, communities and each other. Sound great? We think so. Now come and help us make boring brilliant.
